Alert Ready, the national emergency alert system, will be tested on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 10:55 a.m. The system is designed to deliver critical and potentially life-saving alerts. When cleaning leaves off your property, also be sure to take a quick peek at catch basins near your property to make sure they are not blocked with leaves. A blocked catch basin can cause problems during heavy rainfalls. ALH  

You may notice Village Public Works staff planting trees today at various locations along Lynda Lane, Crown Avenue, Kimberley Street and Alban Street. Village staff consulted with a local tree nursery to ensure the trees were suited for planting along Village streets and beneath power lines.  A total
