Holiday reminders 2026!
Garbage and recycling collection will not change during holidays in 2026. Collection will take place on your regularly scheduled day, even if it falls on a holiday.
Please ensure all items are placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. to guarantee pick-up.
Weekly curb-side garbage service is provided to residential properties within the Village and is paid through the resident’s property tax.
Pick-up service for all households on the east side of Highway 101 and the households in Peterson’s Park and on Baker Brook Court is Monday.
Pick-up service for all households on the west side of Highway 101 (except Peterson’s Park and Baker Brook Court) is Tuesday.
To guarantee pick-up, please have your items at curb side by 7:00 am.
Commercial businesses are required to contract for their own garbage removal. All solid waste is processed at the Fredericton Regional Landfill site, located approximately 15 kilometers from the Village.
