The New Maryland Centre can host a variety of events, such things as meetings and conferences, seminars, training sessions, banquets, wedding receptions, family reunions, picnics, seasonal parties, the list goes on and on!

At the New Maryland Centre, we offer a variety of services aimed at making your meeting or event as stress free as possible. Included in all standard rentals is:

• Set up and take down of tables and chairs
• Fiber Op internet
• Beverage service (please advise when booking if bar service is required)
• Access to microphones, sound system, portable staging, projection screens and flip chart stands.

For a minimal fee we can also provide:

• Data projector     $40 + HST
• Linens                   $  6 + HST each

Outside catering companies are permitted. The NMC does not provide catering services for wedding receptions or private parties.

Step #2     Prior to your booking being accepted, a “Pre-Rental Approval” form must be completed and submitted to the Facility Manager.

Step #3     Once the form is received and reviewed, you will receive an email confirming your booking and time slot.

The New Maryland Centre is able to accommodate everything from small intimate dinners to receptions with a dance. We have ample free on-site parking, our facility is barrier free, and we also boast a large visitor reception area.

Included in your rental is set up and take down of tables and chairs, use of our two portable stages, microphones, screen and a sound system with ceiling speakers. Capacity numbers will vary depending on the type of set-up required, however, for traditional receptions with a  head table, we don’t recommend more than 120 people.

Rate: $400 plus HST includes a full day (8 a.m. to 1 a.m.) rental of Hall A&B, kitchen, and bar service.       (

Kitchen includes use of all appliances, dishes, cutlery, coffee/tea urns etc. Please note that the user is responsible to clean kitchen to its original condition.

Damage Deposit: A $200 damage deposit is required for social functions (i.e. weddings, banquets, dances). This deposit will be released within 30 days of your event by mail providing no damages or extra clean-up services are required and all payments have been received. The damage deposit is not part of the rental fee and cannot be applied toward the fee.
