The Village of New Maryland has contracted the services of an Animal Control/Protection Officer through the New Brunswick Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (NBSPCA).  The contract provides the service of a uniformed Officer skilled in the provisions of providing this service to be dispatched within the Village. Under this agreement the NBSPCA has agreed to provide services related to carrying out the functions and enforcement of the Provincial Dog Regulation, New Brunswick Regulation, 84-85, under the Municipalities Act and the Village’s Animal Control By-law No. 52-2006.
