New Maryland Council is working with the RCMP to address concerns expressed by residents regarding speeding within our community. An initiative by the RCMP will see an increase in police presence and officers will be engaging with drivers regarding adherence to speed limits. Officers will be issuing warnings and potentially tickets, so we encourage our residents to pay close attention to the speed limits.
