The day brought us sunshine as we gathered as a community to celebrate Canada Day. The day of events unfolded as we provided a free barbeque, face painting, a bouncy castle, a live band, cutting and serving of the cake. Special guests included Premier Susan Holt and Minister Cindy Miles who brought greetings. Many volunteers offered their services to promote a very successful event. We are appreciative of our volunteers. The residents from the Village of Hope tended to the barbeque as they have in the past. Our resident look forward to this annual event. It provides an opportunity for our residents and guests to socialize. – Mayor Judy Wilson-Shee
