“Honour Our Veterans” Banner Program 2025

The Honour our Veterans program was introduced in 2022 and will be offered again this year. The program provides an opportunity for family members to honour a veteran from the New Maryland community. Banners will be displayed from the third week of October until just after Remembrance Day along the New Maryland Highway light posts (see sample banner below). There is currently space available for 6 banners. Banner dimensions are 2 feet by 5 feet, double-sided, and include veteran service details as well as a photograph and family dedication (see sample banner below). The cost for a banner is $200.00 total. The application form is available HERE  or a copy can be picked up at the Village Office. Completed application forms can be e-mailed to Kelsey.embleton@vonm.ca or dropped off at the Village Office (584 New Maryland Highway). Applications will be accepted until Friday, August 23^rd with final banner design to be submitted by Friday, August 30th.
