Exciting News for New Maryland!
A combined $2.2 million investment from federal and provincial governments will assist in upgrading our wastewater infrastructure, to support future growth and new housing in our community.
The project, construction of a new sanitary pumping station at the Forbes Property, will help enable the potential for greater variety of diverse housing options, including an aging care facility, accessible and affordable housing, and professional service amenities previously unavailable in our village.
This investment helps ensure our infrastructure grows alongside our community, creating space for new homes, services, and opportunities. 🏡
