In celebration of NB Municipality Week 2025, we are sharing the Mayor’s bio to highlight the leadership and dedication that help shape our community.
Mayor Wilson-Shee is responsible to preside at all meetings of Council, provide leadership to Council, communicate information, recommend actions to Council for the improvement of the local government’s finances, administration, and government, speak on issues of concern to the local government on behalf of Council, and perform any other duties conferred on her by the Local Governance Act of NB or any other Act, or by Council. In 2024 Mayor Wilson-Shee was the Chair of the Seniors Advisory Committee, Chair of the Capital Region Service Commission (CRSC), and a member of the New Maryland Community Support Group (NMCSG). Judy oversees the Frank Dunn Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by the NMCSG. Mayor Judy is a member of the New Maryland Lions Club, Chair of the New Maryland Heritage Association, and a member of the Parish of New Maryland Zoomers (50 Plus Group). -mk
