In recognition of Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day, the Village of New Maryland will lower flags to half-mast at sunset on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Flags will remain at half-mast throughout Sunday, September 28, and will be raised again at sunset on Sunday, September 28.
This national day honours the courage and sacrifice of the Police and Peace Officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting our communities.
We stand in solemn remembrance alongside communities across New Brunswick and Canada. – mk
