Village Council and staff support Pink Shirt Day.

On the last Wednesday of February, people from across the country celebrate Pink Shirt Day to promote respectful behaviour and inclusion in schools, workplaces and local communities.

Although the original purpose of Pink Shirt Day was to raise awareness of bullying in schools, the movement has grown to include a wider message, urging people of all ages to promote inclusion in all settings.
